This is about something what my teacher taught me. It's a way to find out whether someone's concentration, focus and dexterity levels are high enough. Though it is easier to do it practically, I'll explain by theory.

Start off by asking your friend to raise his right hand up and point the index finger upwards. Make sure that you and him/her are focused on one another and can see what the other is doing as this will most definitely trick him/her into making a mistake in the end. You'll know what mistake it is later. Now, you too raise your index finger upwards with your hand straight up in the air. Okay, now, you tell your friend to point to his/her finger onto his hair, neck, lips, nose, ear and any other parts, leading him with your finger and moving at a steady pace to a rapid pace. Now, the tricky part. When you feel the pace is fast enough and you think he/she is really following your finger to where it is pointing, you just have to mention one part such as the "chin" BUT point your finger to your cheek. If your friend followed your gesture and pointed to the cheek, it meant he/she did not follow the instruction clearly. This means his/her concentration is not very good. However, if your friend points to the chin, well, let's just say he has been listening closely and has not been following your gestures. That proves that he/she has attained a high level of dexterity.

Have fun. =.=". Seriously, I was caught making that mistake... lol ...

We abandon old things when we get new ones.

It is understandable however that any children, given a new gift would most probably choose to play with it and abandon the old toys. Question now here is, what happens to the old toys?

Of course, the old toys already have the fantastic word "old" accompanying it. Without a doubt, one can most beneficially say that, old toys lose their touch upon the child's affection towards it. The old toy is dull. Who in the world wants a dull toy? Not forgetting it is very boring already as it has been with that person for quite some time. "Hey! I got a new toy and wow, it is the best thing i ever saw yet!" is what any child would have in mind. But, being young and innocent, the child does not know how to appreciate things yet. Bearing in mind that a four-year old would considerably like to spend more time around a brand new toy than that of an old one. Having that in mind, we can simply conclude that the old toys are soon forgotten.

Okay, children and toys are out of the topic now. Let's focus on teenagers and adults. It is still okay for them to dispose of old things when they get a new one. For example, a teenager who is getting a PS3 for example would probably abandon his previous PS2. Taking into fact that these gaming consoles are not human and have no feelings, it seems pretty much okay to just toss that old dusty PS2 into the bag, pack it up and just leave it in a box. However, what if it is a person we are talking about? A living person with feelings? How about adults? Their work, lover, family?

I've sincerely got no comments on what to say about adults but I do have some points on teenagers. We basically prefer new friends and we don't tend much to our old mates when we are enjoying greater fun making new friends. In the end, we can just say that the old mates are just really like the old toys to a 4-year old child. If you're interested in how they feel, try getting one of your closest friends to dump you like an old toy. You will get hurt, most evidently and questions like "What's wrong with me? Am I still his/her friend? I'm confused." will pop out. You won't like it, I can assure you of that.

There is no solution to this. We are growing up but we still inhibit this trait. Some of us never learn how to appreciate some things and when they are gone, it just fades away silently without leaving the slightest trace of its existence and soon after that, we finally realize that it is gone or even worse, we never realized that it has gone.

Dead, Alive, Dead, Alive ... and Alive again ...

Two years ago, i made a blog and just posted one thing and it was an introduction.
